We love creating bespoke experiences, but rather than listing fixed packages, we keep these tailored and personal.

If you’re looking for something more customised, we encourage you to get in touch with us directly. We’ll take the time to understand what you’re looking for and build a tailored experience around your interests, whether that’s food, drink, history or a mix of everything.

We work closely with local venues to shape your itinerary and only apply a 40% service charge on top of the experience cost. In return, we take the pressure off planning and guide you towards the best possible experience based on what Portsmouth has to offer.

This can be as hands-on or as relaxed as you like. We can stay with you throughout, or simply guide you from place to place, allowing you to explore at your own pace.

If you prefer a structured experience, our guided walking tours are the best way to explore Portsmouth’s pub culture.

You’ll visit a selection of carefully chosen pubs, all within a short walking distance, while hearing stories from Portsmouth’s naval past. From the reality of life at sea to the infamous ‘King’s Shilling’, these tours are designed to give you a deeper connection to the city while enjoying it in a relaxed and social setting.

Portsmouth is often said to have one of the highest concentrations of pubs outside of London, with a growing number of breweries adding to its reputation as a great city for beer lovers.

24 hours minimum notice – 5hrs
£80 pp (including drinks and complimentary snacks)

For just an additional £30, we will take you on our Captain’s Walking Tour and continue visiting the best inner city pubs where we’ll be walking a further 90 minutes at a leisurely pace with breaks, where we have lined up at least an additional five pubs (1893ml total), possibly nine depending on opening times (2651ml total). Due to the large alcohol intake and our responsibility to our customers to drink responsibly, we have spread the extended tour throughout a five hour tour, capped the ABV to no more than 6% ABV and we will provide complimentary snacks throughout the tour. Please advise us of any dietary requirements.

This top package includes all the above, apart from we cut short the Captain’s Tour after pub number 8 (1515ml total) and send you off alone on an easy to follow 15 minute walk to a local brewery where you will be greeted by the brewery team who will serve you an incredible selection of fresh and seasonal ingredients. Choose two from the following list:

• 12 hour Brisket – slices of tender 12 hour smoked brisket served with our OG Bear Bones BBQ Sauce.
• Korean Ribs – loin ribs rubbed in OG rub, smoked over beech, sliced & deep fried until crispy then coated in our Korean BBQ sauce & topped with shredded scallion & Kimchi.
• Currywurst (vegetarian/vegan option available) – wild boar spiced sausage smoked over oak, sliced & loaded with curry ketchup & sprinkled with crispy onions
• Crispy Wings – seven seasoned mid-joint wings smoked over oak & deep fried until crispy, topped with OG BBQ or Buffalo sauce & sprinkled with crispy onions & jalapenos.
• Korean Tofu (vegetarian/vegan) – marinated & smoked tofu, cut into strips, dredged in seasoned flour & fried until crisp, topped with Korean BBQ sauce, kimchi & crispy onions.

All the above served with fries, mac n’ cheese, BBQ beans, slaw, pickles and barbecue sauce. Please advise us of any dietary requirements.

As well as some incredible food, get the very best experience at our largest brewery in Portsmouth. See what it takes to craft some of the most pioneering and outrageous beers available whilst sampling them straight from the tank! This includes the following;

• A welcome pint
• Introduction to the brewery
• A full tour of the brewery site and taproom by one of our team
• Tasting samples straight from the tank

After the brewery, get collected in our hybrid people-carrier to your chosen location or continue your experience with us by adding the incredible dining experience at the oldest pub in Portsmouth, serving the heart of the community since 1716 and it’s believed Admiral Lord Nelson sometimes enjoyed a pint there.
