Autumn is the perfect season to enjoy a coffee cup on Eastney Beach, soaking in the atmosphere as the sun begins to set to the west of Portsmouth. For a real treat, we highly recommend asking for a thick shake made with real ice cream from Yarde Farm; rich, creamy and utterly indulgent.

As we relaxed, three cruise ships passed by, two from Southampton and Virgin Voyages’ Scarlett Lady leaving from Portsmouth Harbour, adding a touch of maritime class to the evening. It’s one of those simple moments that perfectly captures the charm of Portsmouth’s waterfront.

Their Autumn Specials launched last month and we’re desperate to try them; the Pumpkin Spice Latte and Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte are both available now and already proving a hit.

Coffee Cup’s story began back in 2007 when founders Steve and Debbie Parsons decided to change their life journey and start a new business with the promise of greatness. Focusing on a quiet stretch of Southsea Seafront, they built their brand on simple but lasting values; serving a high-quality product in clean, well-designed spaces, with exceptional customer service.

What started as a small mobile kiosk soon gained a loyal following, and with the support of their four sons and daughter, Coffee Cup has grown into a family-run success story. With four locations now open 364 days a year and more developments on the horizon, Coffee Cup continues to go from strength to strength.

Open until 8pm daily.
