Southsea Deli continues to highlight the best of Hampshire’s local produce. A recent favourite of mine includes a blue cheese and pear baguette, beautifully complimented with a honey and mustard dressing, plus some watercress. Everything is made fresh to order, and the deli always excels at balancing simple ingredients with bold flavours, establishing a firm contrast when tasting produce when sourced locally compared to mass-produced supermarket products.
Alongside sandwiches, the deli serves artisan coffee and other locally-sourced products, making it a must-visit spot for lunch or a light afternoon treat.
Worth mentioning, the venue also hosts special evening supper clubs and cookery workshops.
