A Southsea boy dared to venture over Fratton Bridge to visit our good friends at King Kebab (formerly Anglo Bangla) on Tangier Road.
They were celebrating five years of supporting charities across the local community, including one that’s particularly close to my heart, Enable Ability, a charity I’ve been proud to work with for the past eight years.
To mark the occasion, King Kebab spent an hour giving away free smash burgers. The atmosphere was buzzing, the food was flying off the grill and the sense of community spirit is what makes Portsmouth so special; this was certainly felt whilst inside the shop, in the short space of time I was there.
Pictured below is what I ordered; I wasn’t expecting a full meal, but I certainly wasn’t complaining. A great team behind the counter, really friendly.
